I was very hesitant to refinance our house. I know that people always say it was the thing to do but I just never like to follow what others say. Yesterday however we decided to look into it and it was actually pretty amazing. We were able to lower our interest rate by 2% and in turn our monthly house payments were also lowered by $200 each month. I also learned that if we actually continue paying the amount that we have been paying we can pay our house off in 17 years instead of the 30 years the loan is out for now. That seem awesome to me and I can not wait to make the extra payments on it and get it paid off sooner. The bank gave us an awesome deal and we did not have to pay for anything. No inspection, no closing costs no fees at all. It was super nice of them and we could not be more happy with our decision. It sure pays off to look into things that’s for sure. It will be nice to own this place sooner or get it paid off sooner so we could save and move in a few years. We will be again closing on our house in about four weeks. It does pay to refinance that’s for sure even if you have to pay the fees that come with it I think we still would have don’t it.
