Sand box Love

Well it is official I did the deed of uncovering the sand box today. Ben has not yet played with it because it was frozen for a long time. Then after the frozen seemed to disappear there was a bunch of water in it and I refused to let him play with it. It is much to cold for his to be playing in the water even if it is in his sand box. So today since we are playing outside I decided to give the tarp a little put up and check out the situation. The water was gone so I removed the tarp. I did have to empty out a few toys that had water in them still before I would let Ben and Maddie in the box. Ben was so excited to play and Maddie was also eager to get in. So I showed Maddie how to get in and they have been playing ever since. I really don't know what is so great about the sand but I guess it is entertaining to them so I was happy to please them. I am also thankful for this laptop so I can sit outside and do some blogging and IM while the kids are absorbing their sunshine.
